You are life changers
Every time you step out onto the pitch, you are helping to make it better for the hundreds of thousands of children who need care at The Children’s Hospital in Sheffield.
Through a partnership between The Children’s Hospital Charity and your league, you have so far raised almost £15,000 for the hospital – money which is vital to its future. Your hard-earned fundraising pounds will go to our charity’s Make it Better appeal, which urgently needs funds to build a brand new wing so children can get better in an environment designed with them in mind.
Further funds are to be donated, £1 from each player’s registration, bringing the total up to £25,000 – enough to fund a private bedroom in the hospital redevelopment. Thanks to each and every one of you, our patients can recover in privacy with space for a parent to stay, keeping families together at the most difficult times. The league will be recognised for this fantastic achievement in the hospital, when building is complete.
But this is just the start of this innovative partnership. As the biggest junior football league in Europe, you have the power to transform young lives, keeping children healthy through sport while supporting one of just four standalone children’s hospitals in the UK. Between September and December, we are inviting you to help raise even more money to support both our charity and your club, by taking part in our raffle draw.
We will provide raffle tickets to the value of £200 for each team, with £100 of that going back to the team and the other £100 to our charity. Each team member will also get a limited edition embroidered patch for their kit. More details to follow, watch this space!
At the charity, we will continue to help you with sponsorship opportunities, whilst forging links with professional sides in the region.
Thank you so much for all you do. Let’s make it better together!
