Are you ready for 2020? We are now opening doors for enrollment in The Wise Women's Council—and you're invited.

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the New Year. Whether you're ready for it or not, January just flipped into view and we're in a new year and a new decade.

We're getting ready to start the 2020 Wise Women's Council in March, and early bird applications are now open. When you apply, you also get access right away to the Year-In-Review course I teach, and you can take the next few weeks to review the year you just had and plan for the year you want ahead.

Apply today join us in The Wise Women's Council

The Wise Women's Council is a private community of women navigating pregnancy, parenting, and business at the same time. It's a place to connect more deeply with other women and show up and be seen and heard when it comes to all the work that your life entails. It's a place to get coaching, to make wise decisions, and to see yourself reflected in the lives of other people.

Time and time again, I hear from people that parenting feels overwhelming and lonely, and that they need more mom friends, but leaving the house at the end of the day is really hard. Women tell me that finding other people who get it can be challenging—work colleagues without kids don't understand, and mom friends that aren't driven in their careers don't understand, either.

We get it. We're doing it. We're ambitious and exhausted. We're scared yet excited. We're trying to figure out partnerships and career growth and decision making on WAY too little sleep. Sometimes we just need to cry and let it all out. Other times we want to celebrate our freakin' asses off because of what we managed to accomplish. Sometimes we just need another lady to look us in the eye and tell us to nap for a week, and make the decision later.

Come join us.

Some important notes:

EARLY BIRD APPLICATIONS. We're reviewing early bird applications beginning January 6th, 2020, so the earlier apply, the sooner you can be accepted. Early bird applications are eligible for the early bird pricing—so make sure you apply by January 20th to get access to our early bird pricing!

SCHOLARSHIPS. We have a select number of scholarship spaces reserved every year for women who are perfect for our community but don't have access to the funds to make it work. Note on the application that you're applying to one of our scholarship spaces. Scholarship winners will be notified in mid-February.

WANT TO SEE WHAT IT'S LIKE? If you want to hear more about what it's like to be in the Wise Women's Council, check out Episode #133 and Episode #134 of the podcast—five of the women from last year's group share their experiences and talk about what it's like to be a part of the group.

Speaking of last year's group—more than a third of the women from last year are joining us again next year! Thrilled to build out this group this year and welcome new and wonderful faces to the place I call home—a community of women making work and magic in the world, amidst all the madness of care taking.

Yes, you can do it. You can build the next version of your life and your work. This is hard work, and I don't sugarcoat the systemic problems and failures that affect us all. And still, in the midst of this landscape, we're going to keep going. I'm here to help you keep on keeping on.

We can't wait to welcome the new class of faces to our group this year.

Choose your frequency, save your sanity.

Well, as much as you can stay sane as a parent. We send emails in three ways, and you can pick what works best for you rather than going crazy in your inbox. Head here to choose how often you get emails — get them every time we send them, only once a week, or just the important stuff.
