Dear Colleague

Whatever about the corporate environment, many or most of us use the cloud to an astonishing degree. Smartphone default settings send all our photographs...

to the cloud for immediate distribution, whether by Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and so on.

Unless you spend a lot of time documenting your settings, it is easy to loose the overview of where all your data is.

If disaster recovery is needed, maybe we are actually involved in damage limitation, not recovery.

Setting up a disaster recovery system and testing it is something that simply must work, but hopefully is very rarely used.  This sounds like a project, and deserves the attention to detail of project management to be successful.

The starting point is to develop the project charter for your disaster recovery project.
