Town Council Meeting

The Town Council will holds its regular meeting on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Paul F. Keller Meeting Hall. This meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are welcome to attend. To view the agenda with links click here. To view without links click here.

Election Day November 5, 2019

The Municipal Elections for Dare County will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Flood Insurance Video

In October, Dr. Michelle Osborne, Chief Deputy Commissioner with the NC Department of Insurance (NCDOI) made a presentation to discuss different types of insurance coverage, issues with specific policies, policy recommendations for coastal areas, and proposed changes to the National Flood Insurance Program including the privatization of flood insurance.

Beach Planting Season Begins

It's November, and that means it's time to get out and start planting more beach grass! The kick off day for this season is scheduled for Monday, November 11 at 10:00 a.m. If interested in helping or if you have any questions about the planting, please contact Sandy Cross at or 252-255-1234.

Town Office Closed

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, the Town office will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019.

Brown Bag Lunch with Chief Cueto

The last brown bag lunch of the fall with Chief John Cueto will take place on Wednesday, November 13 at 12:00 p.m. in the first floor conference room of the Town Hall. For more information click here.

Curbside Recycling Collection

Beginning November 1, residential curbside recycling will resume the off season collection schedule of the first and third Monday of the month.  For information about what is accepted in curbside recycling, click here.

Rotating Art Show: Bobby Wiltshire

Watercolor by Bobby Wiltshire is the next exhibit in the Town of Duck Rotating Art Show. The exhibit can be viewed in the First Floor Conference Room at Duck Town Hall Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) November 1, 2019 through January 29, 2020.
