Pedestrian Plan Phase III Update

Over the past week, Millstone Marine Construction completed the final retaining wall in teh block between Cook Drive and Duck Deli. This week, RPC Contracting will be regrading the area in front of this retaining wall and preparing the concrete forms for the stretch of sidewalk between Dune Road and Cook Drive. Weather permitting, RPC may be able to pour this final section of sidewalk by the end of the week.

Millstone has been asked to add another small retaining wall at the northern end of the project to support the existing bank adjoining the northern entrance to the Barrier Island Shoppes/Sunset Bar & Grille parking area and may also complete that task this week.
