Duck Town Council to Meet on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 
The Duck Town Council will meet on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Administrative Office, 1240 Duck Road, Suite 106 (The Waterfront Shops). First Annual Duck Yuletide Celebration Set for Today Friday, December 2, 2011 and Tomorrow Saturday, December 3, 2011
The Town of Duck, in cooperation with our business community, is hosting the First Annual Duck Yuletide Celebration on Friday, December, 2, 2011 and Saturday, December 3, 2011. There will be Holiday sales, refreshments, Holiday music, and decorations all throughout the Village. The Celebration will culminate in the arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the Town Tree at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 on the Duck Town Green.  The Town is also collecting items for the Beach Food Pantry which can be dropped off at the Town Park during the Saturday, December 3, 2011 event or throughout the week of November 29, 2011 during regular business hours at the Town's Public Safety Building, 1259 Duck Road. For celebration details and items needed by the Food Pantry, visit our  News Page.  Maps of the Holiday Tapas Crawl and participating Merchants are also online.

Duck Yuletide Holiday Spirit Award Winners Announced
Duck Yuletide Celebration Holiday Spirit Awards have been announced. This year's winners are Barr-ee Station, Candy & Corks, Lady Victorian, Osprey Landing Sound Front Shop Owners, Savvy Home Boutique, The Sweet Duck, and The Roadside Bar and Grill. Congratulations!


Police Urge Residents and Visitors to Lock Vehicles
The Duck Police Department urges all residents and visitors to lock their vehicles.  There were recent breakiing and enterings of vehicles that occurred over Thanksgiving and all of these occurred in unlocked vehicles.  Please take the precaution and lock vehicles to protect your property.


Duck Jazz Festival Merchandise Still Available
5th Annual Duck Jazz Festival t-shirts are still available and make great holiday gifts!  Short sleeve t-shirts are $20 and long sleeve shirts are $25.  The shirts are available at the Duck Town Office, 1240 Duck Road, Duck, North Carolina or can be shipped for a $6 shipping and handling fee.  Shirts come in white and various shades of blue and can be viewed on-line.  For questions on color and size availabilty, please e-mail us at info@townofduck.com or call us at (252) 255-1234 during regular business hours.

Duck Boardwalk is Now Open
The Duck Town Boardwalk has officially reopened.  Plan to spend some time enjoying this beautiful town amenity.
