With our unusually mild winter now in the past, the warm spring temperatures have arrived and we are welcoming our new crop of bison calves at Juniper Mountain. Next month our elk will start their calving and we are just finishing up with our lambing season at the sheep ranch. We had a good winter and the animals are in great condition. The range is once again turning green and all we need now are the warm spring rains to make the grass grow.
The hunts for this fall are looking good. September still has a few of dates available and we have several dates left in October and November. Just a reminder, we begin our hunts on August 30 and will hunt through the end of November. We may hunt into December if the weather permits. Hunts for bull elk and bison are Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday with arrival on the afternoon of the first day. We also have one day cow elk hunts available. We will have a great selection of monster bulls for this fall.
If you haven’t booked your fall hunt yet, please give us a call or email. We look forward to welcoming you to Juniper Mountain.
