What a Christmas! This December we officially finished our training and graduated from the New Tribes Missionary Training Center. It was an amazing time and we are beyond thankful for all of you who helped make it happen. This season of life was full of amazing experiences and difficult challenges such as Pete’s health or wrecking our beloved car.
While we were up in Iowa for a wedding, in what seemed like an instant, we suddenly slammed into a very large buck on the interstate at night and completely totaled our vehicle. Praise the Lord we walked away with zero injury! Though we had to scramble to change plans and figure out our move to California without a car, God allowed us to watch Him provide incredibly in our time of need through the whole experience. Now, we are now back in California with a new vehicle and living with an amazing host family in our home area of Brentwood! God is so GOOD!
We will be based in Northern California for the next year as we cast the vision for reaching the last unreached people groups around the world. This year we will be looking to the Lord to:
- Build ministry partnerships – We will be looking to raise up our prayer team and necessary monthly support level for our role with New Tribes Mission.
- We will be looking to connect one-on-one with 250-300 individuals and churches in 2014.
- Lord willing, we will reach our ministry monthly budget in one year.
- Once fully funded we will be relocating to Southern California where our ministry will be based long term. We look forward to operating in our roles, HOWEVER, most of all, we are excited to see folks fired up about reaching those still without the gospel around the world. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few!
Are you interested in hearing more about our ministry or how to get involved in reaching the last 2100+ unreached people groups with the Gospel? Let us know because we would love to meet with you over the phone or in person!

|WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Reaching the Unreached
Kora Tribe - Asia-Pacific
It was a Sunday morning when missionary Matt Musser glimpsed his friend, Metinas, running toward him.“An nemberak u ngok worak,” Metinas told Matt breathlessly. Across the valley in a distant village, he said, his grandfather Jokob was gravely ill. Metinas begged Matt to go with him to see if there was anything he could do for the old man. Matt already knew there was nothing he could actually do for the dying man. A crowd had gathered outside his hut. Matt set his bag down and slowly crawled up next to Jakob through a small opening into the dark smoke-filled hut. He looked up at Matt, waiting for him to say something.” But the right words were not there yet. The language barrier was still too great. “I longed desperately for the words that would open up the door of Heaven to him. I longed desperately for words to share all his Creator had done for him” … Read the rest of the story…

Preparations for the NTM MK Retreat 2014 - Preparations are underway for the biannual NTM MK retreat in the Midwest in August. We are currently working on finishing up details and could use prayer and wisdom.
Preparations for the Barnabas MK Transition Seminar 2014 - Recently, the door opened for Bree and I to join forces with Barnabas International to help staff the annual MK transition Seminar at Biola University! We are pumped to be a part of this amazing annual two-week event in July.
Our time in Northern California - We are excited to be HOME here in the Bay Area, however there is a big job to do. We will be looking to the Lord to raise our mandatory monthly support level so we can begin our ministry assignment with New Tribes Mission.
