Slots are still open for the Friday, Feb. 25 Spring Internship Fair, but you need to sign up by Tuesday (TOMORROW)! Recruiters will interview students for summer/fall internships and jobs between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in-person and remotely in Marshall. (We'll provide a computer in each room for the remote interviews, or you can do them on your laptop from anywhere.)
Only a few students have signed up for the Tucson Weekly, Tucson Sentinel, Madden Media, Green Valley News, Nogales International and Sierra Vista Herald/Review. All are excellent opportunities to get published and learn from creative editors.
Please make sure you've emailed your resume, clips, etc. to the recruiters – per what is detailed on the sign-up sheet by TOMORROW.You also should take copies of your resumes and clips to the interviews. Remember to dress professionally, and do background on each employer by clicking on the links below. Finally, read some last-minute advice on sample interview questions, clips and interview blunders.
If you have questions about whether to interview for a certain internship, contact Internship Coordinator Mike Chesnick or Academic Adviser Paloma Boykin. You can earn up to three credits for an internship (see details).
