Ngurratjuta Many Hands Art on the International Stage!

To accompany the international tour of the Big hART acclaimed production Namatjira, Ngurratjuta Many Hands Art will exhibit a series of their artists' finest watercolours in London!

Works of Kevin Wirri, Douglas Abbott, Marie Abbott and others will be on display at the Cabinet Origine Expert in Paris. 
Ngurratjuta Watercolourists visit Shanghai
Watercolour artists Peter Taylor and Mervyn Rubuntja will travel to China in November.
An artists exchange supported by Austrade, NT Government, Desart and the Shanghai International Exchange Program has come about after a number of visits between China and Australia.  Eight Chinese artists will be travelling to Australia and a number of Indigenous artists will be travelling to China. The idea is for artists from these two countries to visit each other, be inspired and develop works from these visits for an exhibition both in Shanghai and Australia.

“My paintings have meaning too” – Myra Ah Chee at the 2013 Desert Mob Symposium

This year's Desert Mob Symposium featured a special presentation by two of Ngurratjuta's artists: Peter Tjutjatja Taylor and Myra Ah Chee. Brother and sister, Myra and Peter grew up together and have been a great influence on each other's art practice. In their presentation they shared their history, historical photos and discussed their past and recent paintings, seriously and with a typical “Peter Taylor humour"...

Mbantua Festival Exhibition by the Todd River and Watercolour Workshops 

A first-ever outdoor watercolour exhibition at the Telegraph Station during the Mbantua festival. The works are now on display at the new Tangentyere Artists gallery in Alice Springs. Open daily from 10am-3pm.
