News from the Centre of Stabilisation expertise in Australia

A monthly newsletter informing you of initiatives and happenings in the stabilisation industry in Australia

Dear <<First Name>>

In April 2015, AustStab:

  • The AustStab 4th Annual Awards of Excellence opened for nomination
  • Approved reaccreditation of Roadtek in accordance with the AustStab ARRB accreditation scheme
  • Hosted the Western Australian Working Group Meeting
  • Delivered the CPEE Insitu Stabilisation Training Course in Darwin
  • We continued to deliver on the pillars of the association.
Some upcoming events:
  • 20-21 May 2015 - Horsham AustStab CPEE Training Course
  • 10 - 11 June 2015 - Roma AustStab CPEE Training Course
  • 24 - 25 June 2015 - Cloncurry AustStab CPEE Training Course
  • 27 - 29 July 2015 - AustStab Annual General Meeting and Gala Dinner.
Travelling throughout Australia this month, I've been delighted to be able to meet with many of our associate members in the state road agencies, as well as peers from ARRB. AustStab values and appreciate the membership relationship - and view the opportunities to work on items of joint interest such as the development and review of specifications, as the peak industry body for pavement recycling and stabilisation.

Being based in Sydney I have been intimately aware of the devastation of the April storms. I am confident that the AustStab members will be involved in the pavement recovery, as needed. I recommend that local government areas affected by the storms invited AustStab members to assist in the sustainable resilient pavements recovery solutions. Our registered contractors are listed on our website.

Roads and Civil Works and Highway Engineering Australia

In April 2015 AustStab segments will appear in multiple magazines; Roads and Civil Works Australia and Highway Engineering Australia. We have worked closely with both publishers to deliver unique content in both publications.

We welcome the opportunity to contribute to both publications. When a preferred publication is selected I will advise members directly. This will assist members making forward commitments to the publications for advertising purposes.
