News from the Centre of Stabilisation expertise in Australia

A monthly newsletter informing you of initiatives and happenings in the stabilisation industry in Australia

Dear <<First Name>>

In November 2014:
  • Completed training in Newcastle and Brisbane;
  • Attended Austroads meetings;
  • Approved the first round of reaccreditation audits under AustStab ARRB Accreditation;
  • Confirmed research projects and invited member participation;
  • Finished the AustStab annual member survey;
  • Met with SRA's to discuss improvements in the industry,
  • Held the final Council and Standards Working Group Meeting for the year
  • We continued to deliver on the pillars of the association.
Some upcoming events:
  • 17-24 November 2014 - National Workshop Series - Safety at Worksites delivered by AAPA with AustStab support.

This month AustStab has had an opportunity to review past research outcomes and begin planning for new research opportunities. It is great to be involved with an association with a membership group that actively views the opportunities to work together as a group to achieve meaningful outcomes in the development of stabilisation for all of the stakeholders in the industry, especially the end user - the rate paying travelling public. Thanks for being so focused as a group.

Leah Fisher
