WINTER APPEAL - Help us spread the word about Hospice

The involvement of Hospice makes a remarkable difference to those facing a life-limiting illness. Since 2015, we have supported well over 100 people from our local community at the end of their life. More than half of them achieved their wish to die at home, while others stayed home longer. The impact, especially on the family and friends left behind, cannot be underestimated.

But there are still far too many times we hear a bereaved person say “If only we had of known about Hospice”. It is vital that we spread the word about Hospice and ensure the community know we are here and ready to provide vital support to people and families when they need it most.

So, in conjunction with Palliative Care Week (23-29 May), we are launching our 2021 Winter Appeal and raising money to build the profile of our organisation and promote our free, Hospice in the Home service. If you would like to make donation, and help grant the final wishes of a person who would prefer to spend their final days at home, please follow the link to our donation page or call 5563 3220
