National Volunteers Week provides the perfect opportunity to acknowledge and thank the 55 amazing volunteers who power Warrnambool & District Community Hospice and generously support families providing end of life care at home. It is a challenging, but equally rewarding job that requires specialist knowledge and commitment.

Every one of our volunteers is a kind and compassionate person, dedicated to their community and caring for others. We would not exist without their generosity and dedication. So, a big THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteers.

During National Palliative Care Week we shine a light on the role palliative care plays in helping people with life-limiting illness to live as well as possible for as long as possible.

Warrnambool & District Community Hospice is proud to contribute to the high quality of palliative care in our region. The support we provide to people and families through our free Hospice in the Home program helps enhance quality of life and the chance that a person will achieve their wish to spend their final days in the comfort of home with the people they love.
