TPP opportunities for Victorian businesses

Five years in the making, the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement was finally signed by ministers from its 12 member nations on February 4th in Auckland.
In collaboration with DFAT and Trade Victoria, AMBC is pleased to announce a business event to explore the finer details of the newly-signed agreement.  We are fortunate to have the following two speakers to present and discuss the implications and opportunities available for Victorian businesses:
  • Mr Remo Moretta, Assistant Secretary, Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, Strategy and Communications in the office of Trade Negotiations in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Mr Moretta was one of the lead negotiators in the early years of the TPP negotiations, and will be able to share key insights into the process and resulting final agreement.
  • Ms Jacky Millership, Associate Director, Grant Thornton Australia.  Ms Millership is a specialist in Government Programs and Incentives, and also provides trade policy advice in her current role.  Grant Thornton was commissioned by Trade Victoria to investigate and summarise the business opportunities for Victorian companies, and will be presenting their findings at our event.
The event will take place on March 17th from 5.30pm to 7.30pm -  full event and registration details can be found by clicking on this link.

Carpe diem (sieze the day)!
