From the state of Iowa and the provenance of Italy, comes a very special a la carte dinner featuring La Quercia’s handcrafted, cured meats.

We are especially excited to welcome La Quertia owners, Kathy and Herb Eckhouse, and especially excited to have Herb on the dining room floor, hand-slicing his 12-month Tamworth Prosciutto to order.

We'll be offering (almost) the full lineup of La Quercia's salume served straight up on affettati boards or worked into dishes such as Squid Ink Agnolotti with Salt Cod and Nduja, Saltimbocca with Prosciutto Americano and Borsellino-filled Panzarotti.

THE PAJARO VALLEY FARM DINNER
AT PIZZERIA DELFINA BURLINGAME

Join us in celebrating three of Pajaro Valley’s best:
 Tomatero Farm, Monkey Flower Ranch and Mariquita Farm 
 
This locally-focused, family-style dinner, will highlight produce from each farm, giving you a (literal) taste of the Valley's winter bounty.

Pullet Egg Sformatino w/ cardoons + Lingotto dried caviar 
Beet Casonsei w/ ricotta + poppyseeds 
Monkey Flower Ranch Lamb in “Mixed Grill” 
Leeks vinaigrette 
Roasted sunchokes 
Sheep’s Milk Yogurt Budino w/ buddha’s hand citron + meyer lemon
 

$75 per person (exclusive of tax and tip).

ISTINE & SORRELLE BRANCA WINE DINNER
AT DELFINA
Tuesday, January 26th

Let the flavors of Chianti Classico and the breezes of the Dolomite mountains fill your glass, when two of our favorite wine makers from Istine and Sorelle Branca cross the Atlantic to bring their wines to Delfina.

Join us in welcoming winemakers Elsa Branca and Angela Fronti who will be on the floor that night to tell you about their wines, help with pairings, and chat about vintages, regions, or any other subjects deemed mutually appropriate.

The menu will be a la carte, filled with our favorite Tuscan-inspired classics, and anchored by charcoal-grilled Bistecca Fiorentina - a one kilo, aged beef porterhouse steak for two (or one if you're really hungry.) All spuntini for the evening will be geared to accompany bubbles from Sorelle Branca.

Join us in hosting these special wine makers, and turning a cool, foggy, San Francisco night into a warm and cozy evening.
SUPERBOWL BRUNCH AT LOCANDA
 
Lastly, Locanda will be open for BRUNCH on Superbowl Sunday, aka Feb. 7th.

With flights of bacon, latke hash browns, Mayer Lemon-Ricotta Corzetti (silver dollar pancakes, yo) and lots more, not to mention (but we're mentioning) the booze will be flowing; we're talking Bloody Marys (genuino-style), blood orange mimosas and a special game time whiskey cocktail.
