Addressing price changes, mass update, upcoming improvements!
As of January 16, 2018 here's what's new and happening at Play Buddy:
Happy New Year, PB family!
We hope your holidays were joyful and memorable. 2018 is certainly off to an explosive start in the world of Play Buddy! As you're aware, we have been busy releasing Buddies for all of Pogo's new HTML5 games (both the brand new games and converted Java games). But that's not all!
Many of you are familiar with an annual Play Buddy event known as 'The Mass Update'. It typically occurs in January. In short, it is the process of applying general improvements and bug fixes to every product and - this is the fun part - it resets all of the free trials (yay!). I include a list of these changes in the accompanying newsletter. This year we are running a bit behind schedule but never fear - the annual mass update will soon be here! And that's not all...
Have you heard the saying 'out with the old and in with the new'? It seems rather fitting with the ushering in of a new year. That in mind, I'm excited to announce that the Play Buddy website will be receiving a fresh, modern look for 2018! So expect a side of website 'wow' to be served with the 'awesome' mass update soon. Speaking of awesome...
Did you know? In 2017:
*7 new Buddies were added to the Play Buddy collection
*Dozens of updates (bug fixes, customer requests, new options, etc) were performed
*3 Giveaways were hosted (PB merchandise & EA Cash Cards)
*Approximately 300 HOG episodes collected (!!!)
*And finally, NO PRICE INCREASE! All of your Buddies remain $9.99. Cha-ching, what a bargain (if I do say so myself)!
On that positive note, let me close by saying THANK YOU for choosing us for your auto helper needs these past 16 years. We look forward to continue providing the BEST software, service, and experience in 2018.
THREE new games were released in QTR 4 resulting in the addition of Sudoku, Jewel Academy, and Jet Set Buddies.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As you may have heard, Pogo announced that the new Java 10 release may render their Java games inoperable. They have begun converting some Java games to HTML5 (i.e. Aces Up, World Class Solitaire, Turbo 21, etc); we will continue to update associated Buddies accordingly.
