The minutes from the Council meeting held on 21 October 2020 are now available for public viewing on Council's website.

The next Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 18 November at 9:30am. This will be the first meeting of the new Council and will include the formal activities such as swearing in Councillors, electing the Mayor and Depiuty. The Agenda and information on how to attend the meeting via Zoom will be made public in the days leading up to the meeting.

YARRiamBIACK Shop Local campaign was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated in the campaign, and a big thank you to Aubrey+Areegra for coordinating the campaign on Council's behalf. Winners will be announced after the Council meeting on Wednesday 18 November.

The Victorian and National Farmers' Federation have joined forces to develop the  'Common Roads, Common Sense' road safety campaign to help educate the general public on sharing the road with agricultural machinery, which was filmed in Minyip.

Snake season is well and truly here. This year has already seen an increase in sightings. It's important to review, remind and reinforce snake safety to all members of your family and staff to ensure everyone is safe. Who do I call if I find a snake at home?

Kinder has just got a whole lot more exciting for Yarriambiack families with the Premier’s announcement of free kindergarten for funded 3 and 4 year old kinder programs. The second rates instalment is due on Monday 30 November.

Payment can be made at the Warracknabeal and Hopetoun Offices, at any Australia Post Office, via Australia POSTbillpay or by BPAY.

Rates can either be paid in full by 15th February each year or by 4 quarterly installments – 30 September, 30 November, 28 February, and 31 May.
