Announcing our 2015 Launch Pad Feature Judges, Mentors & Guaranteed Signing!

The Numbers Don't Lie.

Over the past two years the Launch Pad has helped jumpstart the careers of countless writers, sending almost 75% of our winners, finalists and semifinalists on to find a home with agents & managers, and almost 30% of those Launch Pad scripts to be set up. There is not one single competition out there that has had those results. Especially not within the first two years of existence.

But we don't do all of this on our own. No, it's our amazing judging panel we build for each competition that rolls up their sleeves and dives in with us to help find that perfect writer and that perfect project to not just get signed or set up, but to launch your career.

This is why we're different. This is why our results stand on their own, and why we're thrilled to announce our next round of judges. Once again our judging pool is here representing every major agency and management company, and all of them ready to help your dreams become realities!

INTRODUCING OUR 2015 LAUNCH PAD MENTORS!

IAN SHORR / ERIC KOENIG / SANTA SIERRA

One of the things we’re most excited about in 2015 is the new addition of our Mentorship Program. In our two years of existence, we’ve had an unfathomably amazing run of talented writers who have come through the Launch Pad and immediately begun careers, sold their scripts, and landed open writing assignments. But we wanted to add an extra layer of assistance to our Launch Pad writers, and we're doing so with our mentor program. This year Ian Shorr (Cristo, Capsule, Marble Hornets), LP Alum Eric Koenig (Matriarch) and LP Alum Santa Sierra (Chico Grande, In Search of Our Father, Sylvester Stallone) have come aboard to continue our mentor program with a focus on three key elements - getting you and your script ready, tips and strategies on pitching and choosing your next project, and insight on how to navigate a newly minted career in Hollywood.

Add Feedback Notes For Only $50

Once again we're extending the offer to allow you the chance to know what our readers thought about your pilot. For half the price of our development notes, we're giving you an inside look at what is usually a “behind the curtain” process. Were the characters relatable? How was the dialogue? Did the story make sense? In these couple of pages you will get an idea of what worked and brought your pilot into the semi-finals, or what didn't and kept it from reaching the next stage of the competition. Feedback notes are an invaluable service that we provide to our Launch Pad contestants to help you better understand your own work.
Want to take advantage of our Feedback Notes? When submitting your scripts be sure to click yes on the option:
