Chamber Happenings

Dear TACC Members,

We hope that you will be able to join us for our Annual Business Awards Dinner & Silent Auction on March 29th. This event is always a fun evening, and a great way to showcase the quality of our area businesses and business leaders.

At the end of February, the chamber board of directors held a strategic planning session to discuss our goals, mission and vision. We discussed at length the importance of being a "member serving organization", but also remaining community-minded. We look forward to highlighting our revamped mission and vision statements in the coming weeks.

Thank you. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Respectfully,

Chris Ardinger
TACC Executive Director

Career Day Provides Valuable Information
In partnership with the Tuscarora School District, we held a career day for a third year at James Buchanan High School. Representatives from many area businesses, from 16 "career clusters" volunteered their time to serve as panelists. This opportunity encourages students to think about what they want to do post high school graduation.

On February 29th, the Conococheague Institute suffered a fire, which destroyed one of their most valuable assets. Please keep them in your thoughts as they work to rebuild a wonderful piece of history. If you would like to assist, visit www.cimlg.org.
