March 17, 2016 Wildcat News

Happy Thursday HES Community,

Best wishes to our Destination Imagination team as they head to the state tournament this Saturday.  Coach Amy Treat will be taking Rhett Barrows, Kayla Burnham, Sarah White, Alex Gray, and Taylor Isenor to Burlington for the all day competition.  Best wishes also go to our Jr. Iron Chef team who will be competing in the state championships this weekend.  Coaches Kelly Meacham and Larissa McAree have been working very hard with Stephen Prunk, Rhett Barrows, Jordan Johnson,  and Brayton Bailey to get ready for the big event.  They provided the staff with a tasty preview of their pasta dish last week and received outstanding marks.  Go get 'em Wildcats!

Have a great weekend.

The Circus is Coming!

The Sharon Academy (TSA) Middle School Circus is back for another two performances filled with family-friendly, rollicking good fun! For the tenth consecutive year, TSA middle school students will be performing their hilarious, student-created circus that consistently draws huge crowds.  The shows are once again under the direction of Troy Wunderle, Big Top Tour Artistic Director of Circus Smirkus and the Director of Clowning for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Come early to experience the pre-circus carnival - a wonderful collection of student-run games and activities for children.

Both performances will be held at The Sharon Academy High School on Route 14 in Sharon:

  • Friday, March 25th, Carnival starts at 6:00 pm, Circus starts at 7:00 pm.
  • Saturday, March 26th, Carnival starts at 4:00 pm, Circus starts at 5:00.

$3 admission.  Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

Fun for the whole family.
