the music

Inspired by grief, longing, love, loss, memories and an intense search for home and self, the music celebrates resilience and strength, relationships and community. It excites, inspires, elevates and informs. It also mourns and reminds us of the wealth and breath of life. The journey is undulating and incomplete.

Written in Harlem—mostly, rehearsed in Brooklyn—mostly, and now previews in Greenwich Village.

the recording

I am excited to share with you that the recording project has begun at Vinegar Hill Sound in Brooklyn. Pictured from left to right are engineer and studio owner Reed Black, drummer Scott Neumann, myself and bassist Ben Zwerin.

It was a long, exhausting but exhilarating day! A lot was accomplished.

More to come...
