NCGOP Statement on State Dept. IG Report on Hillary Clinton’s Email

Raleigh, N.C. – The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) today released the following statement on the State Department Inspector General’s report that concluded Hillary Clinton chose not to comply with the Federal Records Act:

“The stark revelations from the Inspector General’s report is more evidence that Hillary Clinton severely lacks the judgement necessary to lead this country. Not only did Clinton break federal rules but she recklessly endangered our national security. What’s worse is a 2010 email with a top aide proves Clinton’s choices were motivated by secrecy – not convenience. While she and her aides refused to cooperate with this probe conducted by an Obama appointee, it’s clear she’s been dishonest from the start. There is too much at stake to entrust our nation’s security with someone who has already proven to put themselves ahead of our safety.” – NCGOP Chairman Robin Hayes
