Dear Fellow Republicans,

We have much to be excited about as we prepare for this year's upcoming elections. I want us together in the winner's circle come November when we celebrate the reelections of Governor McCrory, Senator Burr, and our entire slate of Republican candidates. We must keep our Republican majorities and begin by ensuring Justice Bob Edmunds wins his June 7th primary.

Thanks to all of you who have so warmly welcomed me back as Chairman. I have found many positive and encouraging efforts in place and am confident that high expectations for June and November are appropriate. As always, countless numbers of you are working tirelessly everyday to make sure our policies and candidates prevail. Conservatism is alive and well because of you. My knowledge and experience, with your motivation and resolve, have brought me back into the fight. I am truly glad to be here serving you and our candidates.

To the attendees and all of the people involved in planning our NCGOP State Convention, thank you for helping us complete a successful event which exemplified our status as a flourishing Republican organization. With added financial strength, we will be able to acquire the technology necessary to fix the registration and credentialing problem before the next state convention. Together we elected a great delegate slate, made up of Republicans who will proudly represent North Carolina at the Republican National Convention this summer.

Moving forward, we need to develop a joint effort in acquiring crucial funds, which are necessary in order to sustain our majorities and keep things running smoothly. This is an idea that I want your thoughts, improvements and ultimately approval on. First is the $10 - $10 - $10 sponsorship program. Our capabilities are strongest when we have maximum financial support across the board. I am asking you to contribute $10 or 10 x 10 = $100 or 10 x $100 = $1,000. Please participate at the level you can afford. A huge volume of small donor support shows our strength, unity and effectiveness at the polls.

Another great resource is the Republican Leadership Initiative headed by Carrie Brown, our RNC North Carolina State Director. This is foot soldier training for our army of volunteers and staffers whose focus is identification, registration, and ultimately voters turning out for our candidates. When I was with you before, I asked the RNC to create a year round approach; not just a pre-election push. They are now accomplishing that, along with helping us in countless other ways. Our focus is not only on outputs, but also on outcomes and winners.

The third piece is our Community Stewards effort, which I have asked all our County Chair’s to consider and implement at a level appropriate to them (and where they are). We, as Republicans, have always cared about our fellow citizens, and this is one way we can demonstrate it. We need Republicans, active in every precinct, showing how we can help people and create independence and self-reliance.

Lastly - at least for now - will be a rapid response effort to challenge our opponents when they wrongly attack our candidates. This will range from press conferences by the Party, letters to the editor, phone calls, and personal contacts to be sure the Democrats are forced to defend their flawed and failed policies. North Carolina’s population is growing, jobs are increasing, our economy is expanding, and we are standing up for all North Carolinians. It is no longer a surprise that Attorney General Roy Cooper is missing in action. He was entrusted to protect our state over six years ago, and he failed miserably. As we have witnessed, Republicans are the only ones who will unapologetically defend our citizens. As long as I am your State Chairman, the fight will not only continue, but it will pave the way to a safer and brighter future for us all.

Thank you again for your incredible contributions. As always, keep N.C. strong, and let’s work together to Make America Great Again.

Sincerely,

Robin
