Please join us this special Shabbat with Rabbi Danny followed by the weeks round up in context of community spirit.
"These elections, perhaps more than any others in recent years, have raised fears, concerns and anxieties for many within our community and in wider society. This Shabbat many of us will likely be processing and reflecting on the election results. After we have finished the Torah service, Rabbi Danny will facilitate a sharing circle to allow people to speak in a safe space - in community - about how they are feeling. This will NOT be a discussion group. Rather, people will be invited to share individually how they are feeling and the rest of the community will be asked to listen to the person speaking without responding. It's important to remember that however we have chosen to vote, we are still one community.
In Mussaf (the additional service) after the circle we will have the opportunity to davven/pray for our country and the new government and that things should be good for all of us in the coming years."
We look foreward to enjoying a kiddush afterwards with all of you.
