The Powell Street Festival Society office is closed from December 24 to January 1. 

 

 

22,838 people attended the 2018 Festival.

6157 attended other PSFS events throughout the year.

118,721 people reached our website + 393,965 on social media. 

We have 544 members + 438 incredible volunteers.

665 artists were paid, 66% are local.


We featured 24 unique Japanese Food Vendors and 34 Craft and Marketplace vendors.

2019 Membership Top-Up is available!


You now have the option to “top-up” to an Annual Membership for an additional $12. Annual Members receive a Membership Card valid until the last day of the calendar year, entitling you to discounts at:

Young Japanese Canadian Language Exchange


A group for young (<40) Japanese Canadians and native Japanese speakers in British Columbia who wish to practice their Japanese and English. We plan to meet about once a week to have a language exchange with time split between Japanese and English. We can also have events like pub nights, movies, dinner, etc. All levels are welcome!

This Meetup is generously funded by the National Association of Japanese Canadians through the Young Leaders Fund.
