Message from the President

Hello Ladies,

Fall is in  the air, okay maybe just in the morning. But, in my heart I"m wearing my boots and scarf and drinking hot chocolate. We have a busy month ahead of us.  In just a few days we'll have our Program meeting, This month the focus is on Domestic Violence Awareness; our speaker Tamara Knox will share with us her story and her courage to keep moving forward.

Jane Morse is looking forward to seeing members at her at her home and share stories and laughter. Please don't forget to take a picture to memorialize this fun time. I'll be with you in spirit.

Our Fundraising committee is working hard on our first Bunco of the year; please sign up to help if you can. I"m really looking forward to it!  Our Service Committee is planning a celebration of our 30th Anniversary on the 5th Thursday of the month. Thanks, Marie Wood for donating your home!

I think we will have a strong year due to the work we did at the Retreat and now in our committees. As long as we keep our sense of humor, and sense of community, we will succeed!

Yours in service,

Greetings From The President

Caramel Apple Dip

It’s apple time!  Wow….it is already October!  How can that be?  But it does mean it is time for Apple Hill and all of those delicious apples.  Here is a great way to use them in an easy appetizer OR dessert that is great for parties or any fall get-together!  Who doesn’t love caramel apples….and this is SO much easier!

2 (8 oz.) blocks cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 (16 oz.) carton MARZETTI'S Caramel Dip
1 cup HEATH BIT 'O BRICKLE Toffee Bits
Apple slices

Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar. Spread evenly on platter or large plate.
Spread caramel dip evenly over cream cheese layer. Sprinkle with toffee bits. Serve with apple slices. To keep apples from browning, dip them in pineapple juice or 7-up after
