“The root of joy is gratefulness.”
- David Steindl-Rast

We start with Thanksgiving. In Advent, our impatience is transformed into hopeful expectancy. At Christmas, we receive the gift of "Joy to the World".

Every year is a different journey and the story needs retelling. Your story needs retelling. Be on the lookout for opportunities to listen to others retell their story to you. Be on the lookout for opportunities to share your story. I look forward to traveling with you this year and to retelling our Story together.

Wishing you great peace and grace,

Poinsettia Celebration

We invite you to participate in our annual Holiday Poinsettia Celebration. Honor a loved one by purchasing a poinsettia in their name. The plants will decorate the Chapel and Sanctuary until Christmas Eve, then you are welcome to take your plant home for the holidays or donate it to spread holiday cheer to those in need.

12-2 First Advent Sunday @ 11:15 AM, Chapel & Sanctuary

Let’s green our church!  Decorate with garlands and ornaments to adorn our spaces for the Christmas season.

12-9 Parents of Kids Lunch @ 11:15 AM, Chapel

Hosted by parents of children, this lunch welcomes parents of children and children of parents. All are welcome to break bread with families and friends to celebrate the holiday season.

12-16 Gift Wrapping for Veterans @ 11:15 AM, Chapel

Join us for a Blue Christmas worship in the spirit of Advent to acknowledge and celebrate loved ones who are no longer with us in body, but very much in spirit. Following worship, join our industrious Compassion in Action group as we wrap gifts to be distributed to veterans.

12-23 Eat & Carol over Cocoa @ 11:15 AM, Chapel

An Old Fashioned Carol sing...with a twist! Gathered around the piano after worship, we'll be caroling over hot chocolate. Bring a dish that represents your traditional Christmas memories. It does not have to be large in quantity. Just a little something that one or two others can nibble and share the Christmas spirit. Wonder what your neighbor's favorite Christmas dish is!

12-24 Christmas Eve Services, Sanctuary

Family Service – 5:35 PM. A service with readings by children and families that retells the Christmas story through scripture, poetry, and song.

Candlelight Service – 11 PM. A candlelight service that celebrates Christmas joy on a beautiful silent night.
