No one has ever become poor by giving.

Pledge Drive
While finances are an integral part of the pledge drive, it is an opportunity for us as a community to hear each other’s stories and grow in friendship and faith. Come and be part of this special time in the life of the church.

This past Sunday we heard from Heather Palmer and Deborah Archibong.
Heather Palmer: "I met a medical student from America in the suburbs of London. We got married and moved to Newton in 1978. As a Baptist, I love that we are not driven by hierarchy and I appreciate the simplicity of the service and life together as a community that comes together over reading scripture during bible study, finding strength."

Deborah: "When Daveen was born, the church really supported us. I've also enjoyed being able to sing at the Open (and Affirming) Mic Nights and the worship service." Daveen, Deborah's sister, was the youngest premie that St. Elizabeth's Hospital has ever had and she is a true miracle.

David Barbrow and Abi Kugadas will share their testimonies on this Sunday, February 24.
