A lot’s been happening at NOW Communications. And we wanted you to hear all the details straight from us. We’ve got promotions, new hires and job postings. We’ve got more space and new offices.
Let’s start with our growing NOW family.

Daniella joined us almost two years ago as the fresh face (and voice on the phones). She arrived with a background in marketing and client services. And since then, she's worked on everything from coordinating media to audio production to supporting website development. She's done a great job and is getting a promotion! Daniella is taking on the role of Account Coordinator... which means she'll be lending her skills, time and experience to helping our client service teams. Basically it means she'll be fretting over all the small details so our clients don't have to.

Kristen has been with us for over six years and worn a few hats in that time: media coordinating and trafficking, client services, production coordination and workshop facilitator. Her storytelling passion – developed as a former journalist and TV producer – has had her playing an increasingly significant role on our creative team. Chances are pretty good that if you've made an ad with us in the last few years, she was involved... whether it was in writing concepts or scripts, coordinating the production side or sometimes flying out to add a critical eye on set. Kristen's new business cards come with the title she’s already been doing for a while. She'll be continuing to make sure all our clients get engaging, on-target and beautiful creative campaigns.

We're just thrilled to have Joanne joining our NOW family. And while she's stepping into a big job, we know she's just the right fit! A Nova Scotia native, she’s been splitting her last few years of work between Ottawa and Toronto. The latter of the two she’ll continue to call home as she’ll be dedicated to collaborating with our central and eastern clients.

Joanne comes to us with stacks of experience in the world of politics, the labour movement and community engagement. And we’re really excited she’ll be joining the team at the end of October – when she’ll have transitioned out of her current role as a National Director at ACTRA. We’re pretty confident you’ll like her too... because she’s a little bit of everything we love: a strategic thinker, a savvy and talented communicator, a great writer, a witty tweeter and just a really fun person to work with.

Naomi has been part of the extended NOW family for a few years through our sister company and new media experts, Twisted Lime Media. For the next few months, she’ll be in our Vancouver office pitching in with clients and suppliers to allow us to continue to live up to our NOW reputation for beautiful products, on-time and on-budget. Naomi can deliver a lot: design and layout, ad trafficking, client coordination, pre-press – all with a calm, can-do attitude.
 

We also need a new un-sung hero: a new Administrative Professional in our Vancouver office.
