Here's what happnened in June
The Classic Rock Cruise-in Car show was a lively time for all. Lots of beautiful old cars were on view in perfect weather to have the top down. Thanks to Board member Dorothy Kelly and Museum Director Angie DeLeo for representing the Society.
Prairie Canyon Open Space Day was lots of fun. Thanks to Open Space, Historic Douglas County, and all the Historical Societies involved.
A Big thanks to Dan Reilley and 6202Cycling.org for their support of the Historical Society's first historical biking tour. Come out for the bicycling documentary on July 23 (see below).
The historical Marker program, "Then and Now-Holding History in Your Hand" is progressing. We've entered into the research phase where the Society partnering with the Town Historical Preservation Board are digging up lots of fun facts about the initial 20 buildings participating in the program.
Mark your calendars for our biggest event this summer: the Museum's 15th Anniversary Concert on August 18.
