WATER QUALITY WORKSHOP TOMORROW

We’re excited to get your input regarding water quantity and quality in the US 290/SH 71 corridor, including Williamson Creek, flooding concerns and run off. Workshop attendees will be asked to help us identify issues or specific concerns we may not yet be aware of.

Join us tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Oak Hill United Methodist Church - Fellowship Hall (7815 Hwy. 290 W., Austin, TX  78736). The project team will provide short presentations, and then we will have an interactive discussion to answer questions and better understand your concerns.

If you are unable to make it tomorrow evening, all of the presentations and a summary of the meeting will be made available online. And as always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us online.

YOU ARE SHAPING OAK HILL PARKWAY

The 100-year floodplain is a large expanse through the US 290 Corridor and a major constraint for how the project can be designed. Your participation at this workshop will help us meet the goal of the Oak Hill Parkway project: To improve long-term mobility in the area by identifying a solution that effectively addresses traffic congestion, respects the environment, and adds value to the Oak Hill community.

This workshop was originally scheduled to occur in June but was postponed due to anticipated severe weather caused by Tropical Storm Bill.
