To the Twelve Tribes
Scattered Abroad...

Have you thought of yourself as referred to in that verse before? I have… it’s for both you and me. We are scattered, aren’t we? Yes, we are. Emails, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, Skype calls, Messenger mail or video calls, come from all over! They come from several countries from the continent of Africa, all over North America (including Canada), South America, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, India, Nepal, and even a few from Japan! I know there are other communications, but to organize them for this short paragraph is too much to ask of myself! =)

What does it mean that we are part of the twelve tribes? Here’s one way to look at it; we are the followers of Christ. Please look at this brief Bible study, and if you like it, share it!

Did you know there are Bible studies on the RwD website? If not, please take a look at the “Blog” and if you are on a computer, the right side near the top ought to have a “Categories” area where you can choose one of the ever growing sections. Here’s a picture to help visualize.

Blog Categories for Bible Studies

(If you’re on a smart phone or device, the categories are down near the bottom of the blog page.)

It wasn't very long ago that I was able to meet in the home of a senior pastor and one of his elders to discuss for many hours the subject of the "only true God" (John 17:3). We looked at Scripture and talked about the Father, His Son, the texts that are so often used to prove a trinity, the concepts often used online, the Spirit of God, the angels and their ministry, and how this all fits in--and why it is so important...

I left the next day, after breakfast and several more hours of studying, very enriched with the surety that even after all the questions and comments from intelligent, Godly, and studious men, that the truth will stand and doesn't buckle under investigation.

Those men were committed to study much more for themselves and were very excited about the plain teachings of Scripture so beautifully laid out in God's holy Word.

"The truths most plainly revealed in the Bible have been involved in doubt and darkness by learned men, who, with a pretense of great wisdom, teach that the Scriptures have a mystical, a secret, spiritual meaning not apparent in the language employed. These men are false teachers. It was to such a class that Jesus declared: “Ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of God.” Mark 12:24. The language of the Bible should be explained according to its obvious meaning, unless a symbol or figure is employed. Christ has given the promise: “If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine.” John 7:17. If men would but take the Bible as it reads, if there were no false teachers to mislead and confuse their minds, a work would be accomplished that would make angels glad and that would bring into the fold of Christ thousands upon thousands who are now wandering in error." I met a medical missionary in Kenya, Africa. Here name is Carolyne--the wife to the previous story, "An Angel as a Man of War." Click the image above to hear her story.
One of the audio books I love to hear is "The Desire of Ages." Please listen here.

Prayer Request

Because of plans to travel in the next month to Southern California, Australia, Texas, and India, I'm asking that you keep me in prayer for health and protection. May we all be healthy enough to spread the Word of God effectively!
