The fall semester is almost over for our college students and it’s time to prepare exam care bags. Please take a bag and fill it with snacks and goodies for our students to enjoy during exam week. Exam Care Bags are available in the Worship Center and the Christian Life Center. Please return filled bags by this Sunday, December 9.

message from Pastor Fran

As we quickly move through Advent and approach Christmas, most of us are living into the frenzy of preparations for the days of gathering with friends and family, selecting “just the right gift” for special people in our lives, finishing up a semester of hard work and hoping for a little time of rest before a new semester begins, and…and…and…seems as though “O Little Town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie” may truly be a most welcomed gift!
In Christ’s birth, we experience the holiness and humility of the simplest, and yet, most profound love. Receive God’s gift in the Christ-child this Christmas, and all will be brought into reflective perspective. Breathe in the spirit of Christmas in the frenzy of the season and you will most certainly experience hope, peace, joy, and love.
Advent blessings,
Pastor Fran

United Methodist Women Annual Meeting

Please join us for the Annual Clemson United Methodist Women general meeting, potluck luncheon, and Christmas Cookie Exchange at 12:15pm on Sunday, December 16 in the Christian Life Center (following the Vine worship service). All women of the church are invited to attend; you don’t have to be a Circle member to enjoy this time of fellowship! Our own Pastor Fran Elrod will be the speaker. So, bring a dish and 2 dozen of your favorite cookies to share!

Join us for dinner in the Christian Life Center at 5:30pm - hot dogs, baked beans, chips and dessert. After the meal please join us for the Kids' Choir and Youth Arts Christmas program in the Worship Center at 6:15pm.
Next week is our final WNL of the semester. Dinner will be followed by the Celebration Ringers Christmas Concert in the Worship Center at 6:15pm.

Celebration Ringers Christmas Concert

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens…we polled the members of the Celebration Ringers and chose some of our favorite “rings”!
Join us on Wednesday evening, December 12, at 6:15pm in the Worship Center for our Christmas concert, A Few of Our Favorite Rings. We hope you’ll find a few of your favorites in our concert, too!
