The North Loop Neighborhood Association’s Parks and Greenspace committee is looking for community ideas for the new 3rd Street park in the North Loop. Join us for a discussion tonight (Wednesday, November 3) at Colonial Warehouse at 7pm to share your ideas for this new green space in our neighborhood.

Join us for Service Saturday in 3 Days

This Saturday, November 6, help pick up litter around the North Loop before the snow starts to fall! The work we do now will help for a cleaner neighborhood once spring arrives once again.

9am: Litter pick-up, starting at Corner Coffee. Bags and gloves provided!

Dog Park Update: Rock On!

The rocks at the North Loop dog park are being replaced to help address concerns we’ve heard from some visitors (and their furry friends) The replacement is starting today and is anticipated to be complete by Saturday. Thank you again to all of the individuals and businesses who donated to help with this improvement, and watch for more improvements to come!

Organics Recycling Update + Reminder

Great news for North Loop organics recycling participants! We’ve added an additional bin at each of the two North Loop drop-off locations to accommodate for a large amount of material being dropped off at each site. Thanks to all who take the time to participate!

Reminder: Jack-o’-lanterns can go in organics recycling. Be sure to remove any candles and then you can put them directly in the green bins. Pumpkins decorated with synthetic materials like paint, jewels or glitter, unfortunately, cannot be recycled.
