Service Saturday, August 14: Litter Pickup + Invasive Species Clearing + Book Drive!
The North Loop is home to six Little Free Libraries, including a newly installed library outside Avivo Village. To help keep our libraries stocked, please bring any books you'd like to donate to the James I. Rice playground on Saturday, August 14 from 11am - 1pm. Special requests include books by authors of color (especially indigenous authors!) and children's books for the library at the playground, but all books are welcome! The North Loop Neighborhood Association will use this donation drive to replenish the stock in our neighborhood libraries as needed.

We will still be having our regular Service Saturday activities, as well! Join us 9am at Corner Coffee (514 N 3rd St) to help with litter pickup and at 10am (meet at Plymouth Ave parking lot) for invasive species clearing (gloves and tools provided). Learn More and Join Us >

Help make the North Loop Dog Park even better!

We’ve heard from many of you that our dog park at 3rd Street and 8th Avenue is due for some upgrades–-especially replacing the gravel that several dogs have found to be a little rough on their paws. Join us at a fundraising event on Saturday, August 28th, at the dog park from 11am-1pm to have some fun and contribute to these upgrades. Contests and prize drawings start at noon, and it's free to attend! RSVP or donate on GoFundMe if you can’t make it.

Save the Date: Ward 3 City Council Candidate Forum at Modist Brewing!
On Monday, September 13th, the North Loop Neighborhood Association is co-hosting a Ward 3 City Council Candidate Forum with the Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association. More information to come!

We always welcome neighborhood comments and questions at and during board meetings (last Wednesday of each month at 7pm).
