WITNESS: Equipped to Share the Good News

by Amy Schenkel

Over the past few years, as I’ve worked with congregations in the Great Lakes region to help them develop a missional imagination to love their neighbors, I’ve had requests for resources that will help them speak the good news of the gospel. How do we share the gospel story? How do we tell people about Jesus Christ?

The challenge is there is not a formula—but there is a recipe.

Resource Spotlight

The ingredients for being a gospel witness today are now available in a free curriculum from Resonate, called Witness: Equipped to Share the Good News. This downloadable resource provides five sessions with short videos, small group guides, and a participant journal. As your small groups, adult education class, youth group, or other community go through these sessions together; you’ll learn about how Prepare, Be Present, Proclaim, Participate, and Power come together to help us be gospel witnesses.

You can download Witness at no cost to you at www.resonateglobalmission.org/witness.

Joining God in the Neighborhood

Join us on Zoom
October 12 and 26, November 9 and 23
7 - 8:30 PM

We want to help you—both your congregation and you individually—develop missional practices and be the hands and feet of Jesus in your neighborhood. We spend 1.5 hours together and then have 2 weeks to practice new thinking and patterns and come back together for more learning and processing.

We are calling this opportunity “Joining God in the Neighborhood.” Through this experience, you will receive coaching from an experienced Resonate staff person and join an online community that will meet 4 times—and it’s free to participants!
