A Taste of Italy with Oliver McCrum Wines
Sunday November 11, 5:30pm

Oliver McCrum has a passion for Italian wines. He's been in the wine biz since 1977, first in London, then New York, and since 1994 he's run his own import company in the Bay Area. Oliver likes to say that he imports the kinds of wines that he likes to drink, specifically, Italian wines of exceptional purity, freshness, and regional expressiveness, from mostly small, family-run properties. McCrum's portfolio is such that, once you experience the precise focus and sheer deliciousness of an Oliver McCrum selection, it's possible to taste common themes in the man's wines as one traverses the region's of Italy.

On Sunday,
November 11 Oliver will be joining us to taste a selection of his favorite bottles, and to discuss the people and places behind them. And given the extreme food-friendliness of these wines, here are many excellent choices for your Thanksgiving table.
