Letter from the President
Welcome back Panhellenic Sisters to the 2011-2012 TCAPA calendar year! We have had a great first two years and I am looking forward to what this year will bring for the TCAPA. We are excited to start off the year with some U of M Recruitment help starting on Labor Day (contact Becky Soderholm at rasoderholm@yahoo.com if you are interested in volunteering) and our Fall Social on Thursday, September 29th at Crave downtown!
Delegates - please mark your calendars for October 3rd for the first Council Meeting of the year! Subsequent dates are February 6th and May 7th. Get ready for more in depth conversations and networking throughout the year. This year, we will be discussing one topic over the course of our three Council Meetings, with each meeting focusing on one aspect of the main topic. This year's main topic is Succesful Alumnae Programing, which will be broken down into Promotion, Attendance, and Involvement. And remember that dues should be submitted by the first Council Meeting on October 3rd.
Please take the time to share our newsletter with your membership and update your sorority's contact information (email us at mntcapa@gmail.com). I look forward to continuing past Panhellenic friendships and starting new ones this year!

Volunteer Opportunites!
Two campuses are in need of recruitment volunteers: University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. At the U of M, volunteers are needed to guide potential new members through a computer-based ranking system to indicate their preferences for each round. Volunteer days and times for the U of M are:
-
Monday Sept. 5 - Open House Round, 4-6 volunteers from 6-10pm
-
Friday Sept. 9 - House Tour Round, 4-6 volunteers from 9:30pm-12am
-
Sunday Sept. 11 - Philanthropy Round, 4-6 volunteers from 3-7pm
-
Monday Sept. 12 - Preference Round, 4-6 volunteers from 8-12am
At the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, the collegiate Panhellenic group has asked for a diverse, unbiased group of Panhellenic volunteers, so we are inviting members of sororities other than those that currently have chapters on campus (Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Zeta, and Sigma Sigma Sigma) to volunteer. We appreciate your understanding in wanting to promote an unbiased Panhellenic recruitment experience for the potential new members! Volunteer days and times at UW - Eau Claire are:
-
Thursday Sept. 22, 2-3 volunteers from 7-9pm
-
Friday Sept. 23, 2-3 volunteers from 8-10pm
Please contact Becky Soderholm at rasoderholm@yahoo.com to volunteer!
