Time to Transition

I must admit, it has been a very interesting time in history. Transition is taking place in every arena of life. Transitioning from one place to another or from one season to the next can be scary if you allow fear to try to stop you. It can be intimidating if you allow the opinions of others to stop you. It can be overwhelming if you focus on the obstacles ahead of you. But, my advice to you is to keep your eyes on Jesus throughout any transition you are experiencing. Just like Joshua, don't turn to the right or to the left. Stay focused on the goal. Be Encouraged. You are going to see it manifest.

Navigating Transition Pt.6

Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take."
Psalm 37:3 NLT “Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper."

Kingdom Mindset: In order to have a Kingdom mindset, there are three principles that we have to use as our lens to look at God’s Word and the direction of our lives.
God’s Ultimate Purpose
Matthew 6:9-10 NIV "This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"
God ultimate purpose is the manifestation of His Heavenly Kingdom here on earth in partnership with His sons.
Law of Dominion
Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
If God is going to manifest anything in the earth realm, He is going to have to use the freewill of a human being (man). No such thing as manifestation without man.
God’s Purpose for Revelation
Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."
If God reveals something to us that we would otherwise have no way of knowing, then it is for us. Revelation is provision.

How do you stand in transition?
  • You use the Word of God as your foundation.
When people have little or no impact on improving your life, they should have no say in your decision making process.
Ephesians 6:13-17 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:"
1 Corinthians 15:1 BSB "Now brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, and in which you stand firm."
  • Do not allow fear to come in.
Mark 5:35-42 "While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why trouble thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeing the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleeping. And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entered in where the damsel was lying. And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment."
Luke 8:50 "But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole"
  • Stay focused.
Joshua 1:7-8 "Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
Psalms 1:1-3 GWT "Blessed is the person who does not follow the advice of wicked people, take the path of sinners, or join the company of mockers. Rather, he delights in the teachings of the LORD and reflects on his teachings day and night. He is like a tree planted beside streams- a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. He succeeds in everything he does."
1 Timothy 4:15-16 NLT "Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress. Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you"
  1. Is the Word of God your standard or does your opinion or what’s politically correct determine what you will do?
  2. Do you feel equipped to defend God’s Word?
  3. Are you allowing fear to come in to your life and impact how you live?
  4. Are you allowing distractions in the form of people and circumstances to throw you off course?
  5. Are you guarding your anointing by not allowing anything contrary to God’s Word in your life or is your life an open door that anyone or anything can come in?
