Word to the Wise

This month, I want to share a few things that will help you in manifesting your sonship. The earth is waiting for the sons of God to operate as sons which requires a certain level of maturity. Nothing that is immature is able to reproduce or to be productive. There are Biblical principles that can help you grow in your walk with the Lord and come to a place of manifestation in your life.
Here are a couple to help you in that process:
You have to know who you are in the Lord.
Romans 8:14 BSB
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”
Galatians 3:26 BSB
“You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
1 John 3:1 AKJV
“Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.”
Philippians 2:15 KJV
“That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”

You have to operate the same way God operates by speaking the Word.
Ephesians 4:29 GNT
“Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you.”
John 5:19 BSB
“So Jesus replied, "Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”
John 8:28 ESV
“So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.”
John 14:12 ESV
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.”

Walk in your sonship and help manifest God's Kingdom in the earth. Be the body that Christ left in the earth to manifest His culture.

Putting Our Flesh Under

We are going to explore a new series regarding how to deal with our flesh as Christians. I know this is not a popular subject, but it needs to be addressed because how a lack of Biblical standard is negatively impacting the lives of too many Kingdom citizens. These are the last days and we should have a desire to grow up into the image of Christ. Part of growing up is moving toward operating in the spirit instead of being controlled by our flesh.

Hebrews 5:12-6:1 GNT
"There has been enough time for you to be teachers—yet you still need someone to teach you the first lessons of God's message. Instead of eating solid food, you still have to drink milk. Anyone who has to drink milk is still a child, without any experience in the matter of right and wrong. Solid food, on the other hand, is for adults, who through practice are able to distinguish between good and evil. Let us go forward, then, to mature teaching and leave behind us the first lessons of the Christian message. We should not lay again the foundation of turning away from useless works and believing in God."

We cannot please God if we are living carnal lives. We need to make sure we are operating in Biblical order. We are a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body. Our spirit is first and our body is last. We should not live as if our flesh is first.

2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal”

Romans 8:5-9, 13 NIV
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.”

“For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.”

Romans 8:14 BSB
"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God."

In the months that follow, we will be looking at our mouth, our sight, our hearing, and our appetite. Living by being led by the Spirit of God will guarantee that we grow up into the image of Christ and continue to manifest His Kingdom in the earth.

Ephesians 4:14-15 NLT
"Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church."

Questions:

1. Is the Word of God the standard by which you live your life?

2. Do you consult God and pray before making a decision or do you decide by how you feel?

3. Do you struggle with knowing whether something is good or not?

4. Do you live in Biblical order, (spirit 1st, soul 2nd, body 3rd)?

5. Do you struggle with submitting to God's will for your life?

6. Is immaturity in your life keeping you from manifesting at the level you would like to?
