Don’t Depend on this World’s System

Greetings! This month we are looking at some of the issues that are hindering the body of Christ from manifesting as sons of God. One of the biggest issues with those who call themselves Christians is a dependence on this world’s system. We have become so educated and indoctrinated to depend on worldly systems that we leave God out of everything unless things become so bad that we see He is the only answer. The world is crying out for sons of God to manifest. ( Romans 8:19 KJV) The sons of God cannot manifest in a system they are dependent on. We must transition every area of our lives to God’s direction and leading.

Jeremiah 17:5-8 NLT
“This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.”

The people of God must put their trust in God’s Word and see Him as the healer above this world’s system. If you put more trust in a doctor’s word than God’s Word, then that is a problem and faith will not work in that situation.

2 Chronicles 16:12 NIV
“In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the LORD, but only from the physicians.”
Matthew 9:29 NHEB
“Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith be it done to you."

You have to trust what God’s Word says concerning “no weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17) God is able to protect you in any situation.

2 Chronicles 32:8 NLT
“He may have a great army, but they are merely men. We have the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!” Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people.”
Psalm 118:8-9 KJV
“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.” Psalm 146:3-4 GNT
“Don't put your trust in human leaders; no human being can save you. When they die, they return to the dust; on that day all their plans come to an end.”
Isaiah 2:22 NLT
“Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?”
Isaiah 31:1 NIV
“Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD.”

There is not a natural or worldly way of operating that can outdo what the Lord can do in our lives.

Jeremiah 9:23 NLT
“This is what the LORD says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches.”

We cannot trust in our own carnal feelings or our own human wisdom.

Proverbs 3:5 GNT
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know.”

We need God to lead us in every area of our lives. If Jesus is Lord of our lives, then He should be able to instruct and direct us in every area.

Proverbs 22:19 CSB
“I have instructed you today--even you--so that your confidence may be in the LORD.”
Isaiah 29:14 DBT
“therefore, behold, I will proceed to do marvellously with this people, to do marvellously, even with wonder, and the wisdom of their wise [men] shall perish, and the understanding of their intelligent ones shall be hid.”
1 Corinthians 1:31 NLT
“Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD.”

Do not put your trust in anything this world’s system can offer you. Don’t depend on a title, a position, power or worldly success, all of which are subject to fail. Keep your trust in the Lord.

Philippians 3:8 NLT
“Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ”
1 John 2:15 GWT
“Don’t love the world and what it offers. Those who love the world don’t have the Father’s love in them.”

Word to the Wise

It has been such a privilege to prepare for the Queens' Reprieve every year. Each year that goes by brings a clearer vision for the assignment of encouraging women in their Kingdom purpose. The relationships that have developed and grown over the years are precious. It is a blessing to be able to see the impact of the Queens' Mentoring ministry and to see the maturity that has manifested in the lives of some of the women. My desire is to always have a place where women who are serious about living the Kingdom kind of life can come and be discipled and grow in manifesting their purpose. I pray that those who read the QM emails are blessed, challenged and growing as well. I am looking forward to September with great anticipation and hope to see those who are interested in attending future Queens' Reprieves. Blessings!
