Navigating Transition Pt.5

Greetings! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful autumn season. We are still looking at navigating transition this month. I hope you have been able to glean some nuggets of wisdom from this topic. I will continue to remind you that we must have an understanding of these three Kingdom principles, as we go through these lessons.

God’s Ultimate Purpose
Matthew 6:9-10 NIV "This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"
*God ultimate purpose is the manifestation of His Heavenly Kingdom here on earth in partnership with His sons.

Law of Dominion
Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
*If God is going to manifest anything in the earth realm, He is going to have to use the freewill of a human being (man). No such thing as manifestation without man.

God’s Purpose for Revelation
Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."
*If God reveals something to us that we would otherwise have no way of knowing, then it is for us.
Revelation is provision.

Why do you experience transition?
  • God wants us to be equipped for and able to handle the next level.
*Matthew 5:48 "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect
*Ephesians 4:12-14 AMP "[and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church];  until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]."
*James 1:4 GWT "Endure until your testing is over. Then you will be mature and complete, and you won't need anything."

There are times when God has us in a holding pattern where we are not able to move forward yet, but cannot turn back. In those times, you must ask God for grace to operate with patience and a good attitude. This period of time is where the enemy causes many people to forfeit because they did not have the patience to wait on God’s timing for what He had already provided and set in place. You want to be ready for what God has for you.
  • God wants to be glorified.
*Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven"
*John 15:8 "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."
*Philippians 1:11 NLT "May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation--the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God."
*1 Peter 1:7 "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:"

When God transitions you, it is not for some small insignificant purpose. He is transitioning you so that He can be glorified by what takes place in your life. Stop settling for the small things. God wants to do something big in your life that will make a difference in the lives of others and give Him the most glory.

Questions
  1. Are you growing weary in the preparation process God has you in?
  2. Do you want to be fully equipped for the assignment God has for you?
  3. Are you operating on a level that is too small to be significant?
  4. Are you willing to raise your level to be an example of what God can do and to give Him the most glory?
