WHAT'S INSIDE:

Follow-Up: Our very special Buddy has done so well in his recovery, that owners want to go it alone with home therapy program!! And that is certainly understandable, considering Heather and Mark MacComber have been dedicated clients to HnHPT for 2 years with Buddy’s rehab of 2 CCL injuries. You may recall Buddy was our December 2016 Pet of the Month. He was scheduled to have surgery this past summer, when all of us noted how fit and sound he was. Owners decided to hold off on surgery; that is when we described him as a “Coper”- a person or dog that has ligament injury but has built up musculature and scar tissue to stabilize the joint enough for daily pain free functional mobility.

We wish Heather, Mark and Buddy continued comfort and success with his work outs at home. To learn more about Buddy’s story please visit/click here.

PET of the MONTH

Shadow is a 1-year-old black & white female Springer. She is a very sweet, active and curious pup. But Shadow wasn't always healthy, happy, or sweet...

When I first brought Shadow to Horse 'n Hound she could not run or go up and down stairs. Her gait was very irregular, and her steps out of line. Shadow's hind quarters were undeveloped and she lacked muscle mass.

She has progressed rapidly due to the professional care and treatment received at Horse 'n Hound PT. The staff is extremely professional and well-trained.

We recently had to take a 2-month period off from treatment, in which I saw Shadow decline a bit, so we have now started back for bi-weekly hydrotherapy sessions.

VIDEO HERE: Shadow returning to see her buddy Lori...
and anxiously awaiting hydrotherapy!

At home, I love watching her run with the other dogs. She scales the stairs in our house as if she's flying. And her spirit has soared! Thank you all so very much. 🐶          ~ Jeanne Tuttle

Laser Therapy
Horse 'n Hound has essentially “brought Rascal back to life”.
After seeing the obvious benefits of the weekly laser treatments...at HNHPT,Rascal's Laser Therapy
we purchased our own laser treatment device. This has proven to be an excellent investment – because of our ability to provide frequent laser therapy to sore joints & muscles, we’ve been able to manage pain without the need for any drugs or medications. We continue regular exercise at home, using the exercise techniques that HnHPT provided to us.
