DONATE TODAY TO CLAREMONT SPORTS!
Please join the race and contribute
to Claremont's crowdfund campaign to raise $15,000 for Claremont sports. Every contribution helps.
In three days, we are almost one-third of the way to our goal! Go Knights! As important, please share the link
of the campaign with your friends, neighbors, family and coworkers. The idea is that we ask the community to help us reach our goal.
As part of our campaign, we honor our great, hardworking coaches including David Doubley.
He is the school's restorative justice coordinator and coach of 8th grade boys basketball team and the girls basketball team. He comes from a family of coaches. Here's what he says about sports and youth at Claremont:
"The good thing about Claremont is that we field teams in every single sport and full teams."
"The same lessons you need in sports are the lessons you need in life — competition, hard work, team work. My goal is to set students up for their future. I like teaching them habits and hope they can take these things into the future and it becomes a lifestyle, a routine of taking care of their bodies."

The award-winning documentary SCREENAGERS addresses the biggest parenting issue of our time head on — how teens struggle with social media, video games and internet addiction. The film empowers kids to better navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it.
Tickets are $5 suggested donation and can be purchased here. Pizza at 6 pm, film starts at 6:30, short discussion after the film.

ENROLL IN SUMMER CAMP, RAISE MONEY FOR CLAREMONT
Camp Galileo is launching a new School Rewards program for the month of April to raise a $1,000 or more for Claremont Middle School. For every Claremont family that enrolls at Camp Galileo (pre-K - 5th grades) or Galileo Summer Quest (5th - 8th grades) by April 30th, Camp Galileo will donate $25 to the PTA. That roughly means if 25-30 families enroll in 1-2 weeks of camp, we can raise $1,000. And to make this offer sweeter for families, Camp Galileo will also give families a $50 discount off their camp purchase.
