GENERAL NEWS
How To Save 50% (Usually More) Off Online News Subscriptions
I subscribe to a lot of online news sites. Almost all of them have very low initial offers which frequently double or triple once the introductory period is over.
Here's the secret that these sites don't want you to know.
Cancel. Even if you read the site daily. Cancel your subscription.
Why?
These sites will almost always offer to extend the subscription at the same low introductory rates as before.
I JUST did this with Bloomberg.com which wanted up increase my subscription to $35.mo.
Instead, by "cancelling" I was prompted to subscribe at a rate they advertise as "student only" which was $9.99/mo.
This "Trick" Works Virtually Every Time On Every Site
I've used this "trick" on virtually every online news site and it has (so far) worked 100% of the time. Some of the sites - such as Bloomberg - don't even force you to speak to a real person as they will use AI to automatically offer a lower rate.
This works for the NY Times, and other popular sites.
I've setup a list in my Apple Reminders labeled "Subscriptions" and each time I renew I make sure to add a reminder to call and cancel just before my subscription is due to auto-renew. I am always offered the lower rate once I attempt to cancel.

Sage Updates Guidance on OAuth for Sage 100 Email Services
Sage sent an email alert this week (copy here) which says:
While Microsoft will block basic authentication for many online services, active accounts using SMTP Auth will not be impacted by their actions as originally announced to begin October 1, 2022. This means that Sage 100 and 300 customers utilizing in-product email services to send quotes, invoices, etc. do not face a shutdown of this functionality beginning on October 1, 2022.
My Recommendations:
The only way to sidestep this and future compatibility questions is by staying current
Continue your plans to upgrade to version 2022.1 or 2021.4.
If you are "stuck" at your current version due to enhancements then consider replacing/removing those enhancements with ones that are more readily upgradeable.
There is still a September 2023 deadline for subscribers of Sage 100 to be on a version which supports TLS 1.2 (2019.4+).

Records are only displayed in Business Insights Explorer if filter is created
Sage doesn't say which version of Sage 100 this applies to. However, the article was created on 9/14/22 so I'm going with version 2022.x or higher. It's also possible this applies to earlier versions of Sage 100.
Summary
Records do not initially display in Business Insights Explorer. Records are only displayed in Business Insights Explorer if filter is created
Cause
Max Rows setting in registry for Business Insights Explorer is set too low for the number of records.
