Anybody besides me miss the good old days of the Sage Summit conference?
Sage Summit may be but a memory ( at least for 2022 ), but other events are now supplementing or even replacing the content and networking many of us enjoyed at the official Sage conference.
SWK Technologies and Equation Technologies have scheduled a Sage 100 & Sage 300 user conference for next month in sunny San Diego, CA. Since Sage has largely stopped in-person conferences for the Sage 100 and 300 line these customer conferences are your your best bet for relevant updates on mid-market Sage 100 and 300 products.

Sage has scheduled a full-day remote conference dedicated to the integrated Sage CRM.

Talking CRM 2022 takes place on Tuesday 27th September 2022. It's an all day event filled with short sessions covering all aspects of how integrated CRM drives business advantage. Ensemble Apparel Business Software Ending Support in 2023
Several consultants say their customers have received a notice that Ensemble Business Software will cease support for their apparel industry add-on for Sage 100 at some time in 2023.
This reportedly is due to the retirement of the owner Jon Walker.
Alternatives mentioned include IIG Apparel Associates, Acumatica or Netsuite.

Are you unable to upgrade your Sage 100 to SQL but still want the benefits of SQL reporting from data synchronized to your Sage 100 company files?
Four Reasons To Mirror Your Sage 100 To DataSelf For Your Own Internal Reports
- Keep Sage 100 on Providex because of its ease of maintenance, no need to upgrade your entire Sage 100 and speed for ERP functions.
- Use MS SQL or other databases like Access for more complex/heavy reporting, or to move data between systems (ex.: ERP <-> POS/E-commerce).
- No need to install and maintain MS SQL. DataSelf provides their SQL or you can use your own on-prem or cloud SQL if desired.
