Hi <<First Name>>
We're approaching the end of our two-week campaign and today it's finally the day to approach your Executive about booking a 1:1 meeting to discuss your training needs,
A word to the wise. Don't include it in your normal 1:1. This is a separate meeting about you and your training needs. You don't want it to be taken over by other things on your Executive's agenda. Make a specific request to discuss this issue only.
In your workbook, you will find a template for an email that you can tailor to your needs.
Have courage; write the email and click send. The worst that can happen is that they say no and if this is the case then you will be in no worse position than you are now - except they will now know you are committed to your career and to excellence.
There are more resources and videos being released today over on our social media and YouTube channels, in particular, an adminchat which I have recorded that summarises the last two weeks that will become available at 6pm UK time this evening. Other videos being released today include powerful messages and tips on asking for training from Julie Perrine, Heather Baker, Julia Schmidt, Pepita Soler & Peggy Vasquez.
If you are part of a network or have colleagues that you think should go through this two-week #AskForTraining program, there is still plenty of time. I have set up all the emails on an automated campaign so if you want to encourage others to start from the beginning, then they can visit http://eepurl.com/gCvC0P to sign up FREE to take part!
Don’t worry if you have missed a day. You can access the videos and bonus items at any time on our Facebook and LinkedIn Groups or via Twitter! And, if you have any questions, you can email either Kathleen Drum, Colette Walsh or me to get can get advice and assistance.
