We are moving to Tokyo on April 29!

You must have heard about our move to Japan, on the blog, Facebook or Twitter. I haven't mentioned it a lot though, and I realized suddenly when some people told me they "understood" we were moving to Japan, but they were "not sure".
So here is the official announcement: we are flying to Tokyo on April 29, leaving Singapore for good... I will miss this country, my friends and all what it has to offer. I feel that I haven't explored enough over the past 4 years I have lived here. I am not ready to move yet, but at the same time I am happy to go back to Japan.
Yes, I have lived in Tokyo before. Before getting married, before having kids. I was a single young lady with an exciting job but I was working a lot and again, didn't explore the country well enough.
I am going back with tons of good resolutions, and one of them is to share all my discoveries with you here and on the blog. I hope you are looking forward to the change too!

Two new bags for Tavolo Tavola!
Net Shopper Bag_Tavolo Tavola

Fleurs Printanieres Net shopper bag

At the end of last year, I created a capsule collection of five net shopper bags and five Mini Me dolls for a lovely Japanese shop called Tavolo Tavola. Mai, the shopkeeper, ordered two more bags in March this year (I couldn't create more than two due to our move to Japan in April). If you've missed my posts, you can check all the pictures here and here. Feel free to browse the online shop's gallery, it has much to offer! oh, and shop too :-)

Also, for your information, I have put my Etsy shop on vacation mode as I will be unable to manage it for at least a month (or until we have settled in our new place in Tokyo). If you would like to be notified when I reopen, just click on the 'Yes, notify me by email' on my shop's page.
Merci!

NEW :: A Mermaid Party... in a kit!

Mermaid Party Kit_April 2012

Invitation and cupcake toppers by One Charming Party

The story behind this party in a kit is simple: I was booked to style a party for a little girl in June. When I learnt that we were moving to Japan in April, I immediately contacted my client to let her know that I would not be able to plan the party (sad). I then proposed her to prepare everything in advance and make a "set-up guide" so she can easily re-create the table set-up. I snapped some photos yesterday (I needed them for the guide anyway!) and I have a post prepared for the blog on Monday.
Do you like the idea of buying a "party-in-a-kit"? it might be something I will develop in the coming months when in Japan...
