December 2016 Connections Newsletter

President's Message

Wow, I can’t believe it is already December! It seems that each year moves faster and faster (maybe it’s just my age.) I hope 2016 was successful for you, both professionally and personally, and that 2017 will be even better.

Your WLG Board of Directors met in November for our annual retreat. The purpose of the retreat is to get together to discuss our progress from the last year and to see how we can continue to grow Women Leading Government here in California and across the nation.

I am so grateful for these amazing women who volunteer their time and many talents to promote women in local government.  As we move into 2017, I hope that you will reach out and get involved!

2016 was a busy year for Women Leading Government and I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you our events this past year. I hope that many of you had an opportunity to attend one or more of the events. We received great feedback on WLG events, and we will continue to offer great programming next year.
